The Booze, Bites & Historical Sites Tour will feature a variety of craft cocktails from some of the city’s most talented mixologists in addition to a few delicious bites and a dose of history.
Each tour will be different, offering an element of surprise to all participants. We’ve partnered with numerous downtown hotspots including OKRA Charity Saloon, Frank’s Pizza, El Big Bad, Frank’s Backyard, Boomtown Coffee, Sambuca, Lawless Spirits & Kitchen, Kanaloa HTX, OHMYGOGI! Market Square and The Moonshiners Southern Table + Bar. Consider this tour a refined happy hour that transports you back to the beginnings of Houston.
Participants can expect a variety of flavor profiles throughout the tour. Some may enjoy a Blueberry, Jalapeño & Cilantro Margarita paired with a hearty Steak Carne Asada Taco or a warm, flakey Plantain Empanada (vegetarian-friendly) from El Big Bad. Others may enjoy a refreshing Peach Moonshine paired with a mouthwatering Smoked Brisket Grilled Cheese from The Moonshiners Southern Table + Bar. Some may even enjoy both! All tours will end with a spiked coffee drink for a little pick-me-up.
Yes, advance ticket purchase is required. Events typically sell out quickly. To maximize your chances of getting the date, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance.
You can dress as you like! We do recommend wearing comfortable shoes as tour is an outdoors, walking experience.
We absolutely do! We can accommodate a variety of special requests (family reunions, Birthday parties, out of town guests, corporate, conventions, festivals, parades, grand openings and more).
You should bring with you a camera and a small bottle of water. When it’s really hot out, we recommend an application of sunscreen on exposed parts of the body and a lightweight pair of sunglasses. During the cooler seasons it’s important to wear and an extra layer of clothing and consider bringing gloves. If it looks like rain we can provide you with a plastic rain poncho.
