The Houston Bites & Sites Food Tour is a three-hour walking food tour that features five diverse tastings and enough booze to give you some liquid courage.
While you’re eating, you’ll get you to learn about the hands that are cooking the food at these local Houston restaurants and the passion these local restaurateurs and specialty shop owners share for the Houston community. In between tastings we share historical sites, architectural landmarks, and the cultural significance of the area. Basically, you’re guaranteed to leave the tour with a few Houston secrets that even locals don’t know about!

Is there parking available?

Parking is available at each tour’s starting location. After your purchase tickets, you’ll receive emails with parking suggestions.

Are children allowed?

Yes, Children are allowed and would really enjoy a Best Bites Houston Food Tour.

Do we only walk around and sample food?

Absolutely not! Our tours combine architectural commentary, historical facts, local culture and culinary insight into a unique 3-hour experience. Imagine walking through the city eating our local artisans most delicious foods while learning the neighborhoods from real locals.

What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?

We CAN provide substitutions for vegetarians, gluten aversions and those who do not drink alcohol, but we CANNOT make substitutions for any other food allergies (such as lactose intolerant or dairy-free) or dietary preferences (such as vegan).

Substitutions for vegetarians, gluten aversions and those who do not drink alcohol must be requested in advance with your ticket purchase. All food and beverage tastings have been prepared in advance at each location, based on the information you provide to us at the time of ticket purchase. Last minute dietary changes the day of the tour will not be accommodated for any dietary restrictions. This is a carefully produced foodie adventure!

Yes, advance ticket purchase is required. Events typically sell out quickly. To maximize your chances of getting the date, time, and number of tickets you prefer, please book well in advance.
